Rule of Three
Eric Shapiro 2008 | Feature
Good acting and slow burn pacing completely undermined by anti-climactic last ten minutes and stupid final moments. Glad I watched this one online.

South of Heaven
J.L. Vara 2007 | Feature
A bit too quirky for it's own good. Still this movie can't out-rightly be dismissed. Several terrific characters and crisp dialogue provide a fun time at the movies (or online.) Still, it didn't knock my pants off. Could get better on repeat viewings, so I will give it another try at the Fest.

I Think We're Alone Now
Sean Donnelly 2008 | Feature
Very scary, yet somehow a bit touching. It would be wrong to deem these two people as crazy, just tragically lonely. Documentaries are often riviting for me, but I think most everyone would find this story compelling. This is one I will show to many a friend and family member.
