Rojo Red
Juan Manuel Betancourt 2007 | Shorts
Lovely and imaginative, Betancourt absolutely nails the way a child's mind works when engaged in make-believe. It's a sweet little film worth your 13 minutes.

I Think We're Alone Now
Sean Donnelly 2008 | Feature
I have to say... if I were TIffany and I saw this, I'd retire from live performance immediately. It's a disturbing look at just who it is who buys all those CDs and DVDs and posters and keychains, an unflinching look into the face of obsessive American fandom. I'm impressed with the delicate handling of both major interview subjects, and it's a beautifully made documentary overall. Most impressively, there is actual hope in the film, something that doesn't seem possible as you're watching.
